How Does Chiropractic Work?
Nerves from the spinal cord transport nerve impulses throughout your body. These nerves can become pinched due to misalignments of the spinal vertebrae or damage to the surrounding tissue. When this happens, your body does not function as efficiently and optimally as it should, and your overall health suffers.
Our doctors correct these misalignments by gently adjusting the position of the vertebrae of the spine, which relieves pressure on the nerve (nerve impingement), restores the nerve’s ability to transmit signals to the brain more freely, and enables your body to function at its highest level possible. Adjustment and treatment procedures are customized to fit the patient’s needs.
Graston Technique
We also utilize the Graston Technique, an innovative treatment originally developed by athletes to effectively detect and treat acute and chronic soft tissue injuries. A chiropractor specially trained in this technique uses instruments designed to break up scar tissue and tensions in the fascia. Our patients have found it to speed the healing of injuries and reduce or eliminate pain. We are a preferred provider of the Graston Technique
